Seen, read and played 2020
A year of media consumption in review.
Since this was mostly a stay-at-home year with only some very light travelling, it was quite high in media consumption. I took some inspiration from the Soderblog.
Here is the list of a lot of the stuff read, watched and played in 2020. This is probably not complete, though. Interesting to look back nonetheless. Maybe next year I will organize this differently and approach it even more systematically.

- Agatha Christie - Miss Marple Collected short stories (Read during summer trip to Italy; makes for an excellent beach-read.)
- Cal Newport - Digital Minimalism
- NASA Schedule Management Handbook (I guess that counts as a book. Not exactly a page-turner, but interesting nonetheless. One just marvels at the methodical approach and the undoubtedly crushing bureaucracy that brings along.)
I suspect that I have read more than that, but I have not kept account of everything. Also, I did not list all the other technical and research papers over the year.)
Games
- Uncharted 4 (Was a lot of fun indeed!)
- Hitman 2 (The first two or three missions were interesting but then it felt a bit repetitive.)
- Sekiro - Shadows Die Twice (Yeah, I gave up on that pretty quickly.)
- Stardew Valley (Sunk more time into that than I care to admit.)
- Counter Strike Global Offensive (Played a couple of rounds during the first lockdown in March)
- Batman: Arkham City (I replayed the main story for a while.)
- Ghost of Tsushima (Started)
- Cyberpunkt 2077 (Started)
- Pillars of Eternity (Started)
- Control (Started)
- Metal gear Solid V (Started, quit after the first mission to Afghanistan. I loved MSG up to IV. Somehow this one didn’t feel “right”. I might come back to it. Eventually.)
Apparently I started a lot of games but lost interest in most of them rather quickly. And the actual library is even larger, including all the free games I scored.
